The campaign to make Nyepi efforts to reduce emissions must be carried out by using universal languages. Was like this came to the forefront in discussions of the year end that were held by Collaboration of NGO Bali for Iklim Justice in Denpasar Bali on Friday. One of the languages that was used was by using the World Silent Day term, not Nyepi, for the campaign in the national level and international.
Ida Pedanda Sri Begawan Dwija Nawa Sandi, the spiritual Balinese leading figure, said that must be distinguished by Nyepi that uptil now has been done by the Balinese community with World Silent Day that was campaigned for.Technically then two this was different although having the same aim. Nyepi was in Bali done with the series of the activity like the chess brata penyepian (four matters that might not be done), then world silent day would not precisely like that. If with terms that only were understood by Balinese, he continued, then the campaign will be difficult to be understood and to receive the opposition from the other religious group.
